The Youth SDG Art Conference (YSAC) 2022, organized by the Youth Entrepreneurship and Finance Association (YEFA), was a global initiative to inspire young artists to address the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through creative expression. Held from November 1 to December 31, 2022, this competition brought together talented youth to showcase innovative solutions to environmental challenges through art.
Partnering with international educational collaborators, YSAC 2022 aimed to amplify the impact of the SDGs, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability among Gen Z participants and encouraging actionable change through artistic innovation.
YSAC 2022 challenged participants to explore themes like marine conservation (SDG 14), climate action (SDG 13), and sustainable cities (SDG 11). The event encouraged critical thinking, research skills, and creative problem-solving, while building an international community of young artists committed to sustainability.
The 2022 conference concluded with a virtual exhibition showcasing remarkable artworks, including winning pieces like "Lighthouse" by Wu (1st Place). The event successfully raised awareness about sustainability and empowered young artists to contribute to a better future.
