While leading growth at a stealth social media startup, community building at an edtech nonprofit, and building next-gen marketing infrastructure with Bill, I enjoy being thoroughly humbled both in 18U hockey and on Lichess. At YEFA, I hope to expand youth entrepreneurship and give back.

Hello~ I’m Cynthia! In YEFA, I’m in charge of managing marketing timelines, meetings, and tasks. I’m interested in the field of economics and econometrics, and I have a (traumatic) history of competition math. Outside of school, I love to explore music, art, and other languages, and I’m a track & field athlete.

Heyo! I’m Stanley, and I’m interested in the study of science, technology, and society. I’ve been a soccer player turned badminton player turned hockey player turned tennis player turned cross country runner. I’m a lover, I’m a fighter, I’m a forensics impromptu speaker. Through YEFA, I hope I can offer more opportunities to international students.

Hi, I’m Suri! I’m interested in economics and entrepreneurship through the lens of social impact as well as philosophy. Through YEFA, I want to share my passion and vision with my surrounding community. Outside of school, I am a competitive fencer who has been stabbed (legally) for 8 years. In essays and short stories, I hope to voice my worldview while capturing the smaller moments of life.

Michelle has been a member of YEFA since its founding year and has been the Finance President since September 2023. Her main passion is in promoting sustainability through STEM, which she started in middle school and continues to pursue through high school. She has expressed her commitment through 2 years of being a New York Junior Academy of Science member (led 2 teams during the 2022 and 2023 Fall semesters), participation in the 2022 UNSDG and Youth Leadership Program, being a 2022 UN Youth Ambassador, and being 1 of 60/700+ teams to reach finals in the 2021 global Diamond Challenge’s Innovation track. Additionally, she is pursuing a major in biomedical engineering, having done a summer internship in 2022 at the IU School of Medicine and an ongoing internship at the UCF BRaIN Lab since May 2023. Outside of academics, Michelle has also done concert band since 6th grade, became principal flute in 9th grade (ongoing), and is the official flute section leader for marching band. She has won gold for all solo and ensemble performances, including one on piccolo and a Gold w/Distinction at the state level, and made the high school All County concert band every year. As she nears her 2025 graduation, she aims to continue pursuing her dreams to achieve her sustainability goals and become a biomedical engineer.
